Ever since the first “The Hunger Games” movie came out in 2008, we here at Fields Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM knew the series would be a hit. So now seven years have passed, and the final movie “Mockingjay – Part 2” will be released soon. We are so happy to say that FCA US LLC is partnering with Lionsgate on some co-branded marketing campaigns to promote the movie as well as the Chrysler, Dodge and RAM brands.
To start off the partnership, four ads premiered yesterday. The ads were all 30 second television spots. The Dodge brand has two ads, while the other two each have one. In the ads, viewers will love to see a mix of scenes from the movie as well as the brands’ popular vehicles tied together in a unique fashion. In the RAM ad, “The Official Truck of Heroes,” it compares the hard-working ethic of the RAM truck drivers we see at our RAM dealership in Sanford with the hard-working people of the districts in The Hunger Games.
In addition to the ads, FCA will also be one of the presenting sponsors of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” red carpet premiere on November 16 in Los Angeles. The movie will be released to theaters that Friday, November 20.
