A Jeep® Jamboree is an action-packed weekend planned with the owners of Jeep® 4x4s in mind.  Each weekend consists of an off-road adventure that’s as enjoyable as it is challenging.

Started by Mark A. Smith in an attempt to improve the local economy, Jeep Jamborees have been an annual tradition ever since Smith’s inaugural celebration.  The initial Jeep Jamboree involved a trek across the Sierra Nevada Mountains by way of the Rubicon Trail more than 60 years ago.

Today, Smith’s organization, Jeep Jamboree USA, has multiple celebrations planned across the United States for Jeep enthusiasts.  In 2016 alone, there are more than 30 Jeep Jamborees scheduled at new and previously visited locations.

There’s still time to be part of the first Jeep Jamboree at Table Mesa in Anthem, Arizona.  That event is scheduled to run from March 3 – 5, 2016!  If you’d rather visit the sites of previous Jeep Jamborees, there is a slew of spots to choose from, including the 12th Jeep Jamboree at Texas Spur in Llano, Texas, the 25th event at Arch Canyon in Blanding, Utah and the second Jamboree at Tillamook in Tillamook, Oregon, among others.

In order to participate in a Jeep Jamboree, your vehicle is required to have certain pieces of equipment, including a full size spare tire and front and rear tow hooks.  Other pieces of equipment are strongly recommended, including skid plates for your oil pan, gas tank and transfer case.
