Here at Fields Chrysler Jeep® Dodge RAM Sanford, we know that many people choose our Dodge models for their performance. Vehicles like the 2019 Dodge Challenger and 2019 Dodge Charger offer multiple trim levels and engine options, making it easy to opt for as much horsepower as you would like. The SUVs on our lot aren’t left out of the fun either. Models like the Jeep® Grand Cherokee SRT Trackhawk® can set land speed records, and now, a new Dodge Durango concept is getting in on the action as well.

The Dodge Durango SRT Pursuit, also known as the “Speed Trap,” takes the 2019 Dodge Durango and gives it a power boost. This impressive model keeps its all-wheel drive, but it adds a Hellcat Redeye engine. You may be familiar with the revolutionary Hellcat engine, which is found in Dodge muscle cars that put out more than 700 horsepower. This particular engine in the Durango produces an astounding 797 horsepower!

This Dodge SUV also comes outfitted with some new equipment that helps it safely take advantage of its extra power. Its loadout includes lower springs, wider wheels, and new brake equipment like calipers and rotors; it’s actually quite similar to Jeep Trackhawk models. The Dodge Durango SRT Pursuit has also removed seats for weight savings, adding in a roll cage instead. This concept also gets a police-inspired paint job.

There may not be plans to put a 797-horsepower SUV into production right now, but we can still help you find a great model at our Dodge dealership serving Orlando. Whether you’re looking for a muscle car, a capable SUV, or the perfect family vehicle, our Dodge dealers have you covered. We hope to see you soon for a test drive!
