FCA US LLC recently appointed Kristen Kreibich to the newly-created position of safety advocate. Kreibich’s position was added to the roster of the auto manufacturer’s restructured vehicle safety and regulatory compliance team which is headed by Mike Dahl.
Kreibich has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing, regulation and safety. In her new role, Kreibich will actively promote awareness of automobile, driver and passenger safety both within and outside of FCA US LLC. Kreibich will discuss FCA US LLC’s safety advancements along with her thoughts about proposed laws and regulatory guidelines with her internal and external peers.
Before her recent promotion, Kreibich was the company’s manager of vehicle safety planning which required her to work regularly with various respected third-parties such as the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety. Kreibich observed, “Because of my background, I am passionate about vehicle safety. It’s a topic of vital importance and my mission will be to ensure it remains top of mind, universally. Because we are all stakeholders — my colleagues here at FCA US, my regulatory counterparts, third-party ratings groups, dealers and especially our customers.”
As further evidence of its commitment to safety, FCA US LLC has more than doubled the size of its vehicle safety and regulatory compliance team as part of the division’s restructuring. All of us at Fields Chrysler Jeep® Dodge RAM share Kreibich’s and FCA US LLC’s passion for safety and are proud stakeholders in the effort to keep everyone on the road safe.
