Here at Fields Chrysler Jeep® Dodge RAM in Sanford, we’re always excited to hear more about new FCA US LLC models that are in the works. And we’re not surprised to hear that a variety of new Jeep® models are coming to the market in the next few years. Crossovers and SUVs have never been more popular, and we’re positive that Jeep is going to keep its winning streak going.
FCA US LLC is investing big in American manufacturing, meaning that these new Jeep SUVs are going to be built right here in the United States. Some of the new models may not surprise you if you’ve been paying attention to news about the brand for a while. The return of the Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer were originally hinted at all the way back in 2011. What may surprise you is how they’re powered.
Both body-on-frame SUVs could be available as plug-in hybrid models, making it possible to go green and get all the benefits of an SUV. All-electric variants of both models could also be in the works, if it looks like there’s enough demand for them.
However, those aren’t the only new Jeep vehicles in development. Joining the Jeep Wagoneer and the Jeep Grand Wagoneer will be a brand new full-size SUV with three rows of seating. We don’t know much about it so far, but we do know that it will be a plug-in hybrid and that it will be available sometime next year. We look forward to seeing all of these unique, green SUVs in action, and we know that they’ll do the Jeep name proud.
