The 2020 Jeep Gladiator just made its official debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. It will be available in four different trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon. It is based on the Jeep Wrangler.
This Jeep truck is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine that puts out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is the standard offering, but an eight-speed automatic is available as an option. In 2020, the Jeep Gladiator will be offered with a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 worth 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. Two 4×4 systems are available to enhance your performance on and off the road: Command-Trac 4×4 and Rock-Trac 4×4.
By way of capability, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator sets best-in-class ratings with a 7,650-lb towing capacity and 1,600-lb payload capacity. In the cargo bed, an assortment of elements comes equipped:
- Cargo tie-downs
- Under-rail bed lighting
- External power source
- Damped tailgate
- Bed liner and divider
- Tonneau cover
To boot, the Jeep Gladiator is the only truck to come with a removable top and a fold-down windshield.
