Every year, AutoPacific, Inc., an automotive consulting and research organization, conducts a national New Vehicle Satisfaction Survey. Based on the responses the company gets, AutoPacific then identifies the winners of its Ideal Vehicle Awards.
To determine this year’s winners, AutoPacific sent surveys to thousands of people who purchased new model-year cars, SUVs, and trucks between September and December, 2017. The survey was administered beginning in January, 2018, and it wrapped up this past April. When completing the questionnaire, respondents rated their vehicles in accordance with 14 attributes and their interest in changing them. The automobiles that people wanted to change the least were declared the victors in their respective classes.
As Dodge dealers serving Daytona, FL, we’re thrilled to tell you that three of the vehicles we sell earned top honors in their automotive classes. The 2018 Jeep® Grand Cherokee was named “Best-in-Class Ideal Mid-Size SUV,” the 2018 Chrysler 300 was declared “Best-in-Class Ideal Large Car,” and the 2018 Dodge Challenger earned the title of “Best-in-Class Ideal Sporty Car.”
“IVAs speak to a vehicle’s layout and design,” says AutoPacific President George Peterson. “Giving owners a chance to tell us what they would change and how they would change it reveals which vehicles are designed to meet their needs and expectations. In other words, having owners who are happy with things the way they are says the manufacturer did their upfront research and designed the vehicle with their target buyer in mind.”
